looove this series, I just wished they had more romance since it's 98% plot and comedy with 2% romance

love it!

Each was way too short! Longer please 🥰

Didn’t love the time moving forward in some chapters

Funny dirty and heartfelt

This is the first time I've listened to anything by this author & I'll listen to something else I'm sure.
The reason I found this series was the genius that is Joel Leslie. He made this series. He flitted from one character to another with seamless ease. How he does it, I've no idea with the use of different accents is incredible.
My favourite character was Alistair & I spent most of book 3 laughing.
The cutest character was Caolan & with the Welsh accent made him adorable.
I may just revisit this whole series again at some point in the future.
I would definitely recommend this series.

I Loved this whole Series

Just loved this series. The underlying story was magical. The books are full of humour as well as emotion. Wonderfully written and expertly narrated. Most definitely recommend!

Fantastic series!

The romance is very minor but cute nonetheless. Some action, lots of funny banter, quirky characters, and wonderful world building.

I would've loved to have a bit more in-depth descriptions of the species (especially the shifters) and some more romance, but I'm ok with what we got.

I'd recommend reading the whole series as one since the plot spans all four books.

Joel Leslie does a fantastic job (as per usual). I listened to chapter 4 of book 1 so many times because it's effing funny, and Joel's delivery is so on point. The whole series audio is absolute perfection.

A hilarious supernatural M/M series

These four books are glorious on their own. They're that bit more glorious as a collection because we get Naughty Neil too.
The characters are all believable, the overall story is gripping, and Joel Leslie is the perfect narrator.

A fantastic completed series

I really enjoyed all of these books and I think it's an excellent introduction to this author and the hidden species world. Joel Leslie is a great voice actor and I think he has a really good range of accents he can do. I'm British and I thought his English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish accents are really good. So many don't do a good job with just an English accent, so to do so many accents across these characters is amazing. The characters are well written, really likeable and the overall story arc is well realised. I'm definitely going to get more books by Louisa Masters too.

great voice acting.

It took until around Chapter 9 of the first book for me to get to grips with the concept of the storyline and also to slow the narration down to 0.9 - I found it a little fast. I have to say though, the narration throughout the books is fantastic. The story flowed between books and the series ended at a point where you can finish listening or go onto the next series knowing what came before.

Good Series

Well written plus excellent performance by Joel Leslie. I want more of this world and these people. Sad it had to end.

Great imagery and funny throughout

An excellent collection of paranormal stories. Each book deals with a separate couple and how they got together. The stories are definitely ensemble casting, just with the relationship couple's pov. As a collection they follow the whole story from start to finish.
A well thought out overarching story, some lovely relationships (from which you'll have you own personal favourites), and a lle of surprises thrown in.

Well worth a read. Four novels and a novella for a single credit. What's not to love.

Cracking collection
