About this listen

Navigating family dynamics and the challenges of being a high-achiever, Rachel Robinson's story is a timeless classic from bestselling author Judy Blume.

As the youngest and cleverest in a family of overachievers, Rachel faces unique challenges. Her intelligence sets her apart, but it's her older brother's disruptive behaviour and charm that truly test her resilience. As he undermines her at every turn and wins over her best friends, Rachel must find her place in the family and navigate complex sibling relationships.

Here's to You, Rachel Robinson is a powerful sequel to Just as Long as We're Together, delving deeper into themes of family life, friendship, and the pressures of perfection. Blume's insightful storytelling captures the essence of growing up and the struggles of being a teenage girl, making this a relatable and engaging listen for young adults.

Enjoyed this very much, but was there never a book with Alison as main character? It kind of feels as though there should have been. I like how Judy Blume writes, and that she leaves many questions unanswered, as occurs in actual life.

Great sequel
