Summary

Hawk Red Cloud lives by his own set of rules: Don't let them share the saddle, don't bring them home, and never spend the night. So far he's managed to avoid commitment like the plague.

Tildy Fletcher's parents set rules for her. She would never think of breaking them; she knows all too well what would happen if she did.

Hawk and Tildy are from two different worlds, but there's no denying the attraction between them. The rules are designed to keep them apart. Will they be willing to break them for a chance at true love?

Contains mature themes.

Love this series!

Even though I gave up listening to the last book in this series (as to be frank it was ridiculous), I’m back and absolutely hooked on finding on what happens to the next brother! Loved Hawk and Tildy’s story, just hope the next one is as good!

Great romance

Two people from different backgrounds Tildy knew from the start he was the one she came from a well to do family she was so sweet, caring who let her family dictate to her. Hawk red cloud was an American Native who had hang ups regarding his up bringing who keep pushing Tildy away but was drawn to her every time she needed help. Lots of twists and turns in this book.Mason Lloyd did a brilliant job at both female and male voices.

ANOTHER GREAT BURNOUT EPISODE

Another great episode of these ex Rangers come mechanics & this episode it's Hawk Red Cloud's turn to find the woman who's going to be his & Matilda 'Tildy' Fletcher who IS his COMPLETE OPPOSITE. She's quiet, from the other side of town & lets herself be dictated to.
But then we're feeling that same apprehension that we felt when Sarah was kidnapped, in SHOOTER.
But it's NOT JUST that, the ending isn't just about these 2....

A modern day love story

This is the third book in the Burnout series that I have listened to and I am looking forward to hearing the next one. I rarely give four stars, however this story was so enjoyable and I am officially hooked.

The fact that Hawk is a Native American was different and interesting. I love tildy's approach to life and her personality. Although this story may have been told many times before, the twists and turns make for a great listen.

Mason Lloyd's ability to do male and female voices is stunning, to be honest I simply forgot that it's only one vocal talent doing all of the different characters... simply amazing.

I'm going to get the next one in the series... woo hoo ;-)
