This is the third book byJenny Eclair that I have read and it’s totally different to her other two
As the heading says it is crude and rude at times but underneath all of this there is a story of sorts at times

Must admit I do like a bit of Jenny Eclair. I love her stand up and follow her on Twitter. But I don’t usually read these sorts of books, I like a good serial killer/police type thing. I went for this based on reviews and and Jenny narrating.

So so glad I did. It was funny and touching and interesting and the time flew reading it.

Jenny Eclair is one of the few writers who really do justice to their work as a narrator. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and was sorry when it ended. I’d love to know what happened to the characters going forward.
Jenny’s books are always inhabited by real people and real events - or at least I recognise people and events from my own experience. Keep on writing Jenny!
