Summary

At 44, Eve Mozell has a wonderful husband and a creative job. She also has a temperamental teenage son, two headstrong sisters, and a demented old father. American Modern History

Through a touching family story America is unwrapped and explained . Telephones are the literal mouthpiece for this tale - how we use them ,where we use them and how this form of communication ties families together . Warm , hilarious and poignant - it will be studied in English literature classes soon I am sure . Della Ephron is the keenest observer of humanity .
