تبدأ الرواية بملك كوكب الجبال السبعة متحدثًا إلى بطلي الرواية "سيف الدين" و"حازم محمود" البشريين، فيقول : إنّهم أنصاف البشر الذين ورثوا منا جزءًا من عقليتنا الجبارة، وورثوا منكم بعض الموروثات المتخلفة مثل العواطف والأحاسيس والضمير، فقررنا أن نتخلص منهم بطريقة غير مباشرة بحرمانهم من العقار "ز. ن. ز" المضاد لحالة الرفض الجيني"!!

نعم إنّها الحقيقة فالكائنات الفضائية تقوم بزيارةٍ دورية إلى الأرض تسمى في طقوسهم الغريبة "الثلاثينية" والتي تحدث مرةً واحدة كل ثلاثين عامًا... وبسبب هذه الزيارة ظهر هناك جنسٌ ثالث "أنصاف البشر" والذي تم نفيه على ظهر كوكب "تيتان" لتبقى الأرض مكانًا موبوءًا بمضادات القيم والضمير..
