But the two become a part of history the very first time the Rangers were ever used as an arm of law enforcement in the Lone Star state.

Guns Along the Rio is the first of this pair's adventures as both they and the Rangers grow up on the Texas Frontier gaining experience and wisdom mixed with a lot of cowboy common sense and humor.
