Summary

Agatha Raisin meets Sookie Stackhouse, with love, heartbreak and zombies.

More murder. More mayhem. More champagne.

Toni Windsor is failing at ‘happily ever after,’ but it really isn't her fault. All she wants is true love and the perfect wardrobe, but it doesn't look like they are coming her way any time soon. Instead, there are murders to solve and zombies to raise, and she’s broken her phone again. Worst of all, her shiny new boyfriend turns out to be a jerk; maybe dating a vampire wasn’t her best decision ever?

Good story, poor production

Really enjoyed the story, but wish I’d read it myself. The narrator stumbled over the start of words so many times, it took me out of the story. When the director/producer did pick up on errors, the overdubbed edits were so obviously recorded at a different time, they sounded completely different to the rest of the reading that again, it took me out of the story. Will go back to reading the book myself for the next instalment of the story.

Wonderful continuation of Toni's Exciting Life!

At last! Volume Two of the Lavington Windsor Mysteries is available. Toni is an estate agent with a secret...she's a necromancer who is compelled each night to raise the dead. And her life is further complicated by one-and-a-half boyfriends and a policeman brother with a disturbing murder to solve.

Murder mystery - a modern fantasy - Toni's ongoing story - and a great piece of writing. Alice James really knows how to keep it interesting and the characters have developed hugely, and it doesnt feel forced, just natural!

I was worried the narration wouldn't be as good as it wasn't Alice James, but it's great! Different voices but overall really well read and phrased and a perfect voice to continue Toni's story! Good definition of the characters too!

You learn alot about what's going on and changing within the Vampire community and also how Toni is growing as a person, and also how much of a dick Oscar really is!

Just fantastic storytelling, narration and I couldnt wait to finish it! I found this series by chance and i'm so glad I did!

Look forward to book 3 and hopefully 4,5,6 and 7! Feel like there is a lot of places to go with this series and way more for Toni to explore, more monsters to fall in love with, and many many more sacastic remarks to be had!
