This story is a sometimes uncomfortable but poignant reminder of the things we all should know and consider but that have been forgotten during the passage of time
The interweaving of the flora and moody power of the moor adds to the overall beauty of this book.
Haughtingly read, this story is a horrific treat for the senses that once heard will be remembered forever.

I struggled to keep up with what was happening due to the shallowness of the plot and lack of description, and found myself zoning out a little with the story being a little drawn out in an attempt to pad it out.
I love folk fiction and it is dedinately worth a listen but I wanted a little more depth and padding out.
