Rarely is anything how it seems. very often the person who is isolated from their families are not the problem. Tim seemed to have such a gentle nature, but just shows... everyone has their limits.

I will never understand how people can get so consumed by a religion of any kind that they follow without question the interpretations of those who set themselves up as authorities on such. I can only admire the very brave lady who stayed loyal to her grandson, despite all the trials and tribulations this incurred, and wish her and Tim all the best for the future. If religion is about forgiveness and understanding she has demonstrated those traits admirably, without condoning her grandson 's wrongdoing which he himself acknowledges. Definitely a story which makes you question what your own values and loyalties would be in the same scenario!

This was such a sad, but interesting story and it was read by a wonderful narrator. If you are into stories about cults and for true crime you definitely enjoy story. Just an FYI if you attend a church that would kick you out for talking to someone else that’s a cult. If your church resembles the church and the story you belong to a cult.
