Amazing
This series just gets better and better, love how it all comes together with all the characters. Good job and keep them coming. Already listening to next book.

Good series
I have really been enjoying these books. My only issue, is the narrator’s lack of range with character voices. Pretty limited. Declan and Chris have literally no variation and the women characters are truly poor. Had to skip 2 books and very nearly discarded this one due to the Chris /Declan issue! Not sure how he has won so many awards tbh.

Brilliant
Fantastic story as usual. Loved to hear more of Chris and Co but it is great to have Declans story and powers unfolding. Have to say that the Australian accent was pretty rubbish ;) but that was my only nitpick!

Loved this series
Loved this series. Its even better how the narrator gives a voice to each character and you really feel all emotions from his voices, joy, sadness, humor, this has lead me to by the rest of this series and lots more books the narrator does.

Another great listen, third time through series. 10 out of 10 just wish there was more than 16 books.

The accents are eye-wateringly bad …
I thought that the Irish accents in the previous books were bad, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the series so far, so “what the heck” let’s just enjoy it … and then we get “Australian” and there’s nothing for it but to laugh out loud it’s so awful … man you are really crucifying it!
That said, I love this series, the wit within is excellent as are the characters, so I cringe and laugh and get past the accents.
I enjoy James Patrick Cronin’s narration, but I think that the series would’ve been improved by a supporting narrator who could fill in some of the more global characters.
Note to the narrator: While I haven’t seen the text, I’m guessing that John Conroe wrote “Ye” or “Y’” rather than “Yee” as in “What Ye looking at” … the Irish swallow the “e” and it becomes a short “You” without the “oo” sound. Dear God! Would it have been beyond reason to watch some RTE (Ireland’s national Channel) on YouTube before butchering the accents 😱😱😱
😳 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s still worth a credit, and I have the rest of the series already lined up in my library

Australian accent is interesting...
Great book, great narration...except a slightly weird Australian accent. Nicely beginning to tie in Chris' and Declan's stories.
