I thought the narrator did a good job in making the main Character Geraldine come to life, but it annoyed me when there was no change in her voice for the other characters. Many times I had to replay a scene over to figure out which character was talking.

I loved this book. A brilliant and comic story of love, friendship and coming to terms with grief and moving forwards. This would make an amazing film.

The narrator was brilliant and became Gerri Verne for me.

I read Jane Riley's last book and found that brilliant. Can't wait to read her next!
