Two thousand years in the future. The world is a wasteland, but the women are still gorgeous.

Jack Bowman is out of luck and out of money. That is, until he gets an offer to be a part of an experiment for a major scientific research company. All he has to do is get cryogenically frozen for a few years and he'll be rich. What could go wrong?

Quite a bit, as it turns out.

When Jack's pod splits open and he's met by two beautiful women, he's introduced to a very different world from the one he left behind. There are warring tribes, mutated animals, actual monsters, and even ogres. With so many threats, how can anyone hope to survive?

Lucky for Jack, being frozen was only half the experiment. The other part is swimming around his bloodstream, and it's turning him into something more than human.

Ok not my normal read but I enjoyed it. It has a good set of characters that keep you interested I will start book 2 nice to find a set of books that are in audible plus thanks

I really enjoyed this story, a good twist on a stranger in a strange land, with added babes. I loved the narrator too. He had such a dramatic voice and I loved how he talked.

I really enjoyed this book and the concept of it if I have one complained it is that it was only 7 hours long and to be honest I only stay longer books so this is now your short story to me but I am eagerly anticipating the next bus and would definitely recommend this to other listeners

The narrator voice it fits from start to finish, until now I was used for the voice to grow on me after the mc went through hardship like in the book,,I was accidentally reborn as a farmer,,

Now I don't know if I missed some details here and there but all in all, it's a bit of a (my first book) feeling in its writing, like you think, hmm did you not forget that info?
why did he not use his "awesome" powers to stop that?
Also the conflicts are ... just servings on silver platter, always feels like the conflicts are " super easy, barely an inconvenience".

It's a okay book.
