Helped Me Embrace Retirement
I wasn’t sure what to expect from retirement, but this guide gave me some great ideas to stay active and connected. It’s practical without being boring (some really are!!), and it really helped me think about what I want this chapter of life to look like. I’ve already tried out a few suggestions and feel more excited about the future. It’s a quick read, but packed with helpful tips and reminders to enjoy life with intention. Would recommend to anyone close to retirement or already there!

Excellent for starting retirement life!
I really enjoyed this audiobook. It felt like having a friendly chat with someone who truly gets what retirement can be like. The tips are simple, practical, and easy to follow, like staying active, making new friends, or finding purpose in your days. I liked how it didn’t push one "right way" to retire but offered different ideas so you can find what works best for you. This is a great guide if you’re just getting started or even if you’ve been retired for a while and want a little inspiration.

Retirement More Like Re-Inspirement!
I didn’t expect retirement to feel this exciting! This audiobook gave me a fresh outlook and tons of ideas to keep my days full of fun, movement, and connection. From trying new hobbies to simple ways of meeting people, it’s like having a cheerful coach cheering me on. I’ve already started a walking group and signed up for a painting class who knew I’d love that? It’s not just a guide, it’s a spark plug for your second act!

Uplifting and Full of Fresh Ideas
This audiobook was exactly what I needed to feel motivated about the next chapter of life. It’s full of uplifting ideas—from trying new hobbies to strengthening social connections—but what I loved most was how grounded it felt. It even reminded me to take care of the not-so-fun (but important) stuff, like getting all our paperwork in order. That alone gave me peace of mind. The tone is friendly and encouraging, never overwhelming. If you're looking for a gentle nudge to live with more joy, purpose, and organization in retirement, this is a great place to begin.

Read This Book Before You Retire
The reason I am semi retired is because I don't have a plan for 7 days of the week to stay busy. Listening to this book encouraged me to get a good plan before I completely retire. There is a wealth of information. If you want facts they are in this book. If you want encouragement it is in this book. If you want wisdom it is in this book. If you need some place to go there are good ideas with information in this book.

Retire the fun way
I like the positivity that this book demonstrates for retirement. The author offers a compassionate perspective with high energy to promote mental fitness as we embrace retirement. At this stage in my life it encourages me to keep an open mind as I face this new chapter with all of the many joyful possibilities ahead. It’s nice to pursue what I actually ‘want’ to do now, rather than what I ‘have’ to do, such as my life had dictated in the past, for a newfound sense of purpose and freedom.
