Summary
They say that which is forbidden tastes the sweetest. And you know what?
It is abso-effin'-lutely true.
My name is Blake Cavaletti, and I was recently traded to the Las Vegas Wolves hockey team. But before the season even started, I met the coolest girl. Her name is Noelle, and she’s hot as sin.
Too bad it may now end before it even begins. See, I just found out the girl I like so much is my teammate Noel Sandlund’s twin sister.
Talk about messed up!
He’s a friend of mine and uber-protective of his sister.
Man, how did I not see the resemblance? Must’ve been Noelle’s amazing boobs and fabulous ass that threw me off. Or maybe it’s because she’s so perfect for me.
Somehow, though, I don’t think that’ll fly with Noel. No, he’s probably going to kill me when he finds out.
That’s why he can never learn the truth. Not until I prove myself - to the team, to Noelle, and to her protective brother.
Before it all blows up.
Forbidden on Ice is the eighth novel in the best-selling Boys of Winter hockey romance series.

Noelle and "Hot Guy"
Forbidden on Ice by S. R. Grey pulled me in immediately with "Hot Guy" aka Blake and Noelle. I loved how Noelle got her story told with this book. As the sibling to Noel, she has been forbidden to date guys from the Wolves team. The characters instantly had incredible chemistry, yet developed their relationship before going to the next level. The author did not disappoint in giving cameo appearances of characters from the Boys of Winter series and adding in humor. Reagan West and Oliver Clarke were awesome bringing the characters to life. I loved hearing what they were thinking.

It’s a real love fest!
It was really hard for me to root for a couple like Noelle and Blake. They’re good together but where is the conflict? Where is the danger? It looked like they created their major problem–Noel’s interdiction for his sister to date his teammates–and it’s resolved in a nanosecond.
But they WERE cute together. There’s a lot of romantic moments here, and many positive emotions. The people around them help and support them, it’s a real love fest!
Narration was good, though I didn’t care much for both voices.

Fun
It's been a while since I've been in this world. This was really cute. It gives me major Pucked energy. Really humorous and I like that there's very little to no angst in this one. That's not always easy to do with the whole "teammate's sister" thing. But this book managed it.
