Take a walk with author Chrys Fey through disasters, criminal activity, and blooming love.

Donovan escapes what could've been a deadly wreck. Their past enemies have been eliminated, so who is cutting brake lines and leaving bloody messages? He vows to find out for the sake of the woman he loves and the life they're trying to build.
Amidst a criminal mind game, a fire ignites next to their home. They battle the flames and fight to keep their house safe from the blaze pressing in on all sides, but neither of them expects to confront a psychotic adversary in the middle of the inferno.

Will Mother Nature Give Them a Break?
Flaming Crimes by Chrys Fey is both a standalone listen and part of a series. Beth and Donovan are the featured couple in this book. In past stories, the couple has endured a hurricane, an earthquake, and a tsunami. Now they are dealing with wildfire. I love how the author meshes action, disaster, crime and romance into one. The storyline has some unpredictable twists. Bill Nevitt brings the characters to life with his performance. I enjoy how he has distinguishable voices for the characters. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Yet Another Disaster!
This is book four in a series where every story features a natural disaster, in previous books, we have had a hurricane, an earthquake, and a tsunami and now in this book, we have a wildfire. Although each story is standalone the two main characters remain the same - these two have had so many things to contend with I really feel for them.
Newly married, following their honeymoon in Hawaii our heroes Donavan and Beth have built their dream home and their lives appear to be returning to some sort of normal, they are even considering starting a family but fate hasn't finished with them yet and disaster strikes again, this time in the form of fire! Someone is out to hurt both Donavan and Beth.
The theme of natural disasters together with fighting crimes are woven intricately into all these books along with a blossoming, beautiful and passionate love between Beth and Donovan, they met during a hurricane and fell in love during an earthquake. Then during their honeymoon, there was a tsunami. Each of those events happened in different books now in this book, they must try to outsmart a psychopath out for revenge while at the same time fighting a wildfire.
This book though does concentrate more on Donovan and Beth's personal lives which make the characters feel more real and grounded. We get to see their love deepening as they try to start a family, while a drug dealer obsessed with vengeance plots to hurt them both. This book is another rollercoaster ride with the perfect blend of suspense, action, drama, romance, and love.
Bill Nevitt has given another amazing performance, he has narrated the previous two books in the series and I think that the continuity really helps the listener connect with the characters. Nevitt's delivery is incredibly smooth and flows well, and he brings just the right tone to all the characters.
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Best in the series
I really enjoyed this book. Following a very eventful honeymoon Beth and Donavon are back home, settling into married life and try for a baby. Disaster interferes with their plans for a harmonious life, there is a spate of fires which seem to be random and could possibly be arson. When fire threatens their home the intrepid duo step up to the challenge ending with Beth facing an old adversary. A gripping story, the best in the series so far!

Bad luck strikes again
I love this series because they are always getting into so much trouble as bad luck seems to follow Beth and Donovan. Seriously I would stay away from being friends with these two because it’s dangerous for your health. I was not disappointed by this audio it’s exciting and as always the narration is great.

Flames ignite
I enjoyed this book once we got past all the sex scenes. I like the way the couple have to cope with a natural disaster while fighting for there lives against a more human kind, it makes the stories so unique and interesting. The book was a bit slow to start and does concentrate on the couple's love life more than the crime and disaster but once I started I found I couldn't stop listening. I think this is because the story is so different from the normal style of book and I have grown to like the characters and want to know what happens to them.
Beth and Donovan have returned home from there honeymoon with new scares to show for it. As they settle down to married life and the prospect of starting a family, wild fires break out in the county endangering homes and lives. But the fires aren't the only things heating up, someone wants to get revenge on the couple and when Donovan is hurt in one of the attacks the couple once again fear for there lives and go into hiding. With the help of there policeman friend Thorn can they once again out smart the bad guys or this time will they get burnt? The first problem is working out who.has a grudge against them and with a whole list of bad guys behind bars because of them narrowing the list won't be easy.
I like the fact that the author has stuck with the same narrator for three of books because Bill Nevitt is a good choice and having the same narrator all the way through makes it feel like one big adventure, instead of lots of books.

The disasters continue
Beth and Donavan must be the most unluckiest couple around for disasters to follow them wherever they go. Book 4 carries on in the same vain as the other books in the series.
