I loved this book. This guy is a real person and though there is little in the way of technical advice the spirit of the man shines through, BRILLIANT!! I'm listening to it for the second time and I've only just bought it!!

Part fitness / diet book, part autobiography, part an insight into Beverly Hills lifestyle, all delivered with a healthy amount of humor. Vinnie's cosa nostra like accent and breaking out of the book to tell side stories is a real bonus.

This was a joy to read and love the book having been a fan of Vinnie for some time and loving his podcast it was great to see that he had a book out and it was a no brainier to get the book. I would listen to it on my many walks and loved it. The best way that I can describe the book is its like 4 great books in one and has some very funny and touching moments there too. I would without reservation recommend the book. Vinnie is a joy you will not be disappointed👍

If like me you are an Americas Angriest Trainer podcast listener and haven't yet bought the book because you think you know everything about Vinnie, then you will be pleasantly surprised to find there's much more to learn. You have to get it!
The book is funny, exciting and will even bring you to tears, if you have an heart.

If your new to Nsng or Vinnie then I think this is a great way to get to know Vinnie and what he's all about.

Brilliant book. Vinnie tells you his own story and achievements, his struggles, his ups and his downs. awe inspiring and Vinnie tells it in his own words. This book had me in stitches laughing in some places. Defiantly recommended. includes brilliant fitness and nutrition tips and stories. READ IT.

This book has everything. A guide to getting off the couch, inspiration for giving up sugar and grain, a legendary fight against leukaemia (which makes you laugh and cry), nauseous inducing procedures without anaesthetic (3 times), extreme fitness (without being a shouty idiot about it), extreme bonkers ultra fitness, a big up of Amy Dodson (what a woman) which makes you realise everything is possible and a sneaky peek at a love story (yeah I noticed). Get the audiobook because Vinnie Tortorich has such a great voice, gravelly Italian from Louisiana - really special. Also there is loads of extra stuff. Wish he read all the audiobooks. And he gives the best advice - don't buy fitness crap, it is overpriced and will gather dust - just get a 3$ skipping rope. Never a truer sentence spoken.

I read Fitness Confidential about 18 months ago and it took me on my journey to find the truth. Since then, I've learned lot about my health and wellbeing and it all stemmed from this book.

Listening to it from the mouth of Vinnie was a joy. If you are familiar with the Angriest Trainer Podcast then you will know his style and delivery is pretty engaging.

I won't spoil the book by telling you the story, Vinnie will do a much better job, but you get something extra in this audio book. Most chapters have a reference story where Vinnie goes off the page to describe his point with a story, this is gold. Also the end has a follow on interview with the co-author Dean Lorey. Again this is something extra.

Cheers Vinnie, great to hear the story again.
