The book is so insightful. The authors, really took time to take us through a journey towards FIRE. Leveraging their own stories and well as insights they picked up along the way helped to exemplify the mindset that’s needed to reach financial independence. You are at the centre of that journey, trust in yourself, set goals, adopt a growth mindset, execute and iterate. If you are looking for a book on personal finance this is the one you should read. I started this book at the time when I was in the period of changing the direction of my life and career, striving to find my fire. I can confidently say that it served its purpose very well. I enjoyed every single chapter of it. The stories from authors' lives were very engaging and relatable. Some advice they gave was like a slap back to reality I didn't know that I needed to hear. Listening to people who have already found their fire making the similar mistakes you have made will help you to forgive yourself and free you from self criticism and make wiser decisions in the light of the your takeaways from this book. I loved the book recommendations at the end of every chapter and have already added them to my reading list. Very much recommended especially if you need to gain a new perspective in your life.

What makes this book very powerful is the intimate accounts provided by both authors about their respective journeys.. sharing the failures and mistakes brings the suggested framework into the practical arena and most importantly illustrates the required mindset to Firedom

This was my first introduction to FIRE and it is now one of my top goals. I love how relatable the stories are, it makes me believe in my self and my possibilities. Olumide and Samon are fantastic story tellers. I’ll definitely be re-listening often.
