As with the othe David Almond books i loved this one. the stories didnt quite come together as beautifully as in Kit, but still an amazimg story of defience and heroism.

Almond is a master of interesting detail and description of thought processes. He brings together so many different strands of struggle and discovery for young Bobby and brings him out the other end richer and wiser. Great book!
