Summary

Fanny Hill, one of the most popular novels of the 18th century, traces the rise of its heroine from prostitution to middle-class respectability. The Descriptions…

Listening to this wax unique as it’s old school. Goes to show you don’t have to drop the F bomb every 2 seconds to describe sexual shenanigans. Read brilliantly too.

a diverting story!

if you are suffering from an overdose of Jane Austen then this is for you. It reminds us that there was another side to Georgian life and it deals with another type of woman from that society. The book is well read and does justice to the rich language of that era.
