Summary
As a motorcycle club member and firefighter, Ian Walsh is used to riding the line between the good guys and the bad. He may owe the club his life, but his heart rests with his fire station brothers - and with the girl he's loved since they were kids, Rory Sorenson. Ian would do anything for Rory. He'd die for her. Kill for her. Defend her to his last breath - and he may just have to. Every con in the Rockies knows Rory is the go-to girl for less-than-legal firearms, and for the past few years she's managed to keep the peace between dangerous factions by remaining strictly neutral. But when she defends herself against a brutal attack, Rory finds herself catapulted into the center of a gang war, with only Ian standing between her and a threat greater than either of them could have imagined.

More please!
I love Katie Ruggle's books. They've always got great characters with a story that doesn't dawdle. The narrator is consistently great to, bringing the book to life. I'm off to listen to the next one...

Fantastic story
This is such a great audiobook...and another action packed romance from Katie Ruggle.
Book two is Ian's story a fire fighter and a member of a Motorcycle Club,a club he grew up in but he was half in and half out of the MC because he was a fire fighter first.
Ian had a crush on Rory for a long time, she was a loner didn't really have any friends and Ian was so intrigued by her.
Rory had a unusual childhood her parents were obsessed with training her for disasters and even tried to kill her because of their obsession with an apocolypse. So now as an adult she was more reclusive and her parents influence just made her keep away from friendships...she was a gun expert and sold them for a living. Her shop was the go to store if you needed a fire arm...She knew Ian and was attracted to him but would never pursue anything.
These two are so cute together and I loved the way Ian coaxed Rory out of her shell and slowly but surely she begins to become a part of the community around her...forging friendships.
But Rory and Ian have a lot of trouble to get through before they can be together there is so many problems they have to solve.
Rory's gun store is being targetted for burglars and someone is trying to scare her.
Then there is the fact Ian is being framed for the murder of the dead body found in the town...and they have an angry MC Member who wants them dead.
Through all of this they are falling in love.
I really enjoyed this audiobook narrated by Rachel Dulude who I think does another wonderful performance as all the characters in this book.
I was completely enthralled by this story and the smooth faultless flow of Rachels's voice performing it.
Katie Ruggle can really write a fantastic adventurous romance that kept me entertained through-out.
I Loved it.

Lots of action
Less humour but more action in this second in the series. Still lots of lighter moments as Lou appears from time to time. I’m really enjoying this series and am straight on to book 3.

Too long
I got bored listening to this, it's very drawn out and not a lot happens. The romance did nothing for me I didn't get the connection, he was bossy and she was like a deer in the headlights. The headless guy story is still there but no progress at all and Lou was very irritating in this one. I should have abandoned it it wasn't worth finishing
