I loved this book and have listened to it many times but the only thing is Jan Francis ( who reads the book ) makes Anne too sweet when she is just probably a normal little girl. Also after a while it gets quite boring. I would recommend this book for anyone who listens to audible while they go to sleep or about to go to sleep. Again a great listen and a good story line.

My 7 year old daughter adores these books. They are well read and they instil adventure, imagination and independence in her. She can’t get enough of this series. I recommend.

This story gives you enough amount of detail to what is happening, it is quite hard to be confused about what is happening and you really attach to the characters that you have big feelings when something bad happens

Overall this is a great story for children AND adults for the amount of clear detail to it, great story, I really have enjoyed listening to it

I loved all Enid Blyton books as a child and I’m reading them again. Started of to my grandchildren but I’m going through them myself too. Famous Five were always a favourite, I wanted to be George! Five Go Off In A Caravan is a particular favourite, full of yummy food, lashings of ginger beer, cake made by the farmers wife and of course the circus animals and adventure! A massive adventure. Great for kids and adults living the childhood dream! Highly recommend it. Jan Francis is a fantastic narrator, how she does all those voices so well I don’t know. And very soon you know who is talking. The narrator can make or break a story and Jan certainly makes it.
