This is an exciting adventure, featuring Jade Ihara, a beautiful (of course), independent archaeologist who manages to get herself into al sorts of melodramatic situations. In this story she is up against an international cult, based bizarrely on slavery which has big plans including ruling the world! She must undergo many trials to foil their plans.

It has to be said that the story is rather silly and far-fetched, but it is pleasant escapism and has some genuinely exciting scenes.

The narration is workmanlike and gives each character their own voice.
