This novella was the perfect full stop to the interconnected world Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen have crafted. I've been utterly invested in the lives and loves of these hockey lads, and seeing Wes and Jamie still living their beautifully deserved happy ending, with all the familiar faces still in their lives, brought me so much joy. What I particularly adored was how Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy managed to weave in the established camaraderie of the team. It wasn't just about Wes and Jamie; the presence of the other players, their support and banter, enriched the entire story. There was a real sense of closure, not just for Wes and Jamie, but for the whole group. It was clear these two were meant to be, and the journey to their "epic" conclusion was filled with just the right amount of angst, humour, and swoon-worthy moments. For anyone who has followed this series, Epic is an absolute must-read. It’s a joyful, satisfying, and ultimately unforgettable end to a fantastic ride.
