Summary

Ty Wilcox has leveled up. Unfortunately, so have his enemies.

Ty is no longer the loser he had once been. He’s gone from zero to superhero, all thanks to a device on his wrist that brings a hidden power out into the light.

Before Ty came along, only a few of the devices existed. But a secretive villain has learned how to make them, and one of New Lincoln’s most dangerous crime lords has a supply of them as well.

And now, super-powered villains even stronger than Ty are stepping out of the dark.

The balance of power is changing, and not for the better.

Does Ty have the power to stop it, even with his growing team of super heroines at his side?

Getting Better

I must say I am enjoying this series though not too keen on the repeated description of perfection, I found this to be the best book of the series so far and found myself unable to stop listening when the author reached more tense scenes.
I am very curious where this series is heading and look forward to listen to the next book in the series.

I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys super heroes and futuristic settings, and or if they are looking for a lighter listen after some more intense books, I find it brings an odd charm to this series that I haven’t found in other books as of yet.

Though I do hope the narrator is able to differentiate voices in future more as some characters are starting to sound similar, though so far it isn’t a major issue.

Hope this review helps

ends on a cliffhanger 👎

it's a particular petpeeve of mine that books shouldn't ever end on cliffhangers, because we don't know if and when there will be another book...
so please don't do it

past that, this is exactly like the 2 previous books for good and bad, so if you, like me, enjoyed them, you will find entertainment here as well...

Chris Graves does a great job as always and he continues to compete for my preferred male narrator spot
