I'm loving this version read by Kirsten Getty.
I love her soft Irish accent...

So relaxing ! I love listening to the Psalms.
The only criticism I might have is that it often puts me to sleep when I listen to it in bed!

It's also good that chapters and numbers of psalms are listed and easy to find .... unlike many audio bibles where it's almost impossible to find a chapter.

I highly recommend this book.

it reads traditionally, is quite historically accurate and it is still understandable. this is the best Bible to listen to I have found so far

She misreads John 15v2, the mistake reverses its meaning. How was this not spotted and corrected? That’s just one mistake that I noticed. Are there others? I don’t know, and I’m not comfortable listening to an audio bible that has mistakes. You’d have to listen to it whilst reading along in a printed copy all the time to make sure that what you hear is true.

This is the bible, not a merely human book, and it needs to be correctly read.

The correct text:
John 15:2 (ESV)
2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

As read by this narrator (mistake in capitals):

“Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does NOT bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”
