As I went through the book, it was easy to understand that in my past relationships, I was the same way and it played a significant role in why those relationships did not work out. Enough about the past though. What I realized is I need to fix myself before I can expect to be happy in my relationships and stop projecting my problems onto my partner. I do not have to change who I am but change instead how I think about myself and think of myself as an empowered person who is confident. What's nice is there are interactive worksheets and customized journal pages that allow me to actually apply what I am learning. It's nice to look at them and see the progress I am making. Each day is a new day and I am happy that I have the tools to help myself feel secure in myself and my relationship.
