Ein armer Händler gerät auf dem Rückweg nach Hause gemeinsam mit Doc Croc und Yoyo in ein magisches Schloss und pflückt dort im Garten für seine jüngste Tochter eine blühende Rose. Doch dabei erwischt ihn der Hausherr, ein furchterregendes Biest, und verlangt von ihm, entweder für immer sein Gefangener zu sein oder die Tochter, für die die Rose bestimmt war, zu ihm zu schicken. Als das Mädchen davon hört, geht sie freiwillig zum Schloss, um ihren Vater vor der Gefangenschaft zu retten, und findet heraus, dass das Biest eine sehr geheimnisvolle Geschichte hat.
