It’s a chemistry you wish you were part of it, and by listening you genuinely are for a few hours. I’ve listened once and will listen again and probably again. A series of essays on life- it’s ups, downs and what they’ve learnt along the way all with their delightful perspective and humour. It’s warm and wonderful and a perfect prescription for all of us. I loved it. Thank you ladies and don’t wait for another pandemic to write another one.

Well, I have something in common with the great Jane Garvey because I too went to see Blondie at the Deeside Leisure Centre. This is a refreshingly open and honest stroll through many of late 20th and early 21st century life’s foibles, fads and fanaticisms. I loved it

As always with these two national treasures of ‘audio ‘, Fi and Jane have written and read, I listened on Audible, a book full of real life. It’s funny; memory jogging; interesting; balanced; and honest. The writing is brilliant. I’m going to start at the first episode of Fortunately and listen to it all over again!
