Summary

The police officer's voice is steady as he tells me the news. Your husband is in hospital. My heart pounds. I think about my children, safely tucked up in bed. What will happen to us if he loses his life? And more importantly do the police know where I really was tonight?

Disappointing

I was really looking forward to listening to this book - the title and summary really grabbed me - alas, it was not meant to be.

Firstly - the title is very misleading.

i found Christina to be extremely annoying and unlikable, which kinda put me off the book

The story was OK, but quite predictable - certainly not heart-pounding.......such a shame.
