About this listen

The passionate account of a young man's growing awareness of his own identity, of his involvement in the secret and dangerous world of petty crime, and how, influenced by a precocious schoolmate, he rebels against convention and discovers not only the great joy of independence, but his own new powers for good and evil.©1919 Hermann Hesse (P)2012 Michael A. such an interesting philosophical book. Really gets into the mind of sinclaire and how he struggles to find peace within himself. Personally i think the reader was so so :/ he wasnt bad or anything but when he did damiens voice it sounded a lot deeper and harsher than i feel is described in the writing. still very enjoyable though. recommended for those who love existential crisis :D

great story. ok reader
