About this listen
Can an odd group of fae, human, leprechauns, and witches save not one world, but two?
The epic battle between good and evil continues with Deema training the warriors for her queen. Once a follower of the dark, Deema’s responsibilities increase as she strives to prove her worth to a race of fae she’d once betrayed. Not only is her life in danger against an evil traitor’s creation of a new breed of demon, but she longs to bind herself to a human...something forbidden to an heir of the throne.
Shayna becomes queen of the faerie, but refuses to lay down her sword. Once a warrior, always a warrior. She changes laws, rebuilds, and steps alongside Deema to fight an evil horde set on destroying not only the human world, but hers as well.

The darkness is growing more humans are being influenced by demons to hurt others, more humans are being turned into vampires or left killed. Can Deema, a Fae that herself once worked for the dark side, help her Queen and best friend Shayna protect the human world and the man she loves. Shayna and the queen were hurt in the last battle and the queen hands over her rein to her greatest warrior, Shayna, while she receives but that In itself causes problems. Shayna is a fighter and now is the time the human world needs all the fighters it can get. With each battle and trap she faces leaving the Fae world without a leader because the demons would like nothing better than taking her out. It's up to Deema and the three human detectives to stand by her side and protect her with there lives, unless they can find a why to end the darkness. With dragons, leprechauns, witches and even gnomes fighting on there side they might stand a chance against a new breed of demon, one created by a fae that has turned to the dark side but have they left themselves vulnerable at home?
I like the narrator. Amy Deuchler weaves her own magic and you can't help but get caught up in the adventure that unfolds right in front of your eyes.
