Off the charts chemistry!

An author who can write a story like this is one I will one click every time. SL Scott has a knack for bringing the best out in her writing and this rock star romance is no exception. Weatherly Beck is a law student, grown up with privilege and on the road to success when she finds her fiance cheating on her. Not surprised or particularly upset, she goes to a bar, and notices the lead singer of the band. Dare is not short of women wanting him, but there is something about Weatherly when he sees her in the crowd. When these two meet, it's nothing short of explosive. But being the wonderfully warm, and compassionate man Dare is, he wants to take things slow. A slow burn, both from different sides of the track and the odds stacked against them, will they find their happily ever after? I loved the way this is written. The characters are so real, the story a modern day Romeo and Juliet and the flow is like chocolate, smooth and yummy. I love SL Scott, her style of writing, the fact that she's not afraid to make her heroine's smart, and her heroes loving. It's an amazing listen.

Narrated by the team of Sebastian York and Ava Erickson, we have the perfect cast. York is the kind of narrator that can perform any character, and he molds into Dare. Erickson could not have been better as Weatherly. She brings in a fresh voice with spunk, smarts and a fierce loyalty all with voice inflections. You will not want to miss this one!

Excellent

Never read this author before but this audible book was excellent the narration was great and really made the book. I will definitely be looking for more by this author.

Dare and Weatherly!

Dare was raised in a modest lifestyle and has to work for everything that he has received. The challenges h e has faced has only made him stronger and he owns the mistakes that he has made along the way. The band that he and his friends created are on the cusp of realizing their dreams and his life is looking up. One night at a bar he meets Weatherly and see is what he doesn’t know was missing from his life.

Weatherly was raised in a wealthy lifestyle and has followed her parents dreams for her both when it comes to the men she dates and her careers. When she finds our her future is built on lives it causes her to re-assess especially when are seems so wrong for her but feels so right.

On the surface they couldn’t have been more different but where it really counted they were soulmates. Their journey wasn’t without its ups and downs but that only made it that much more special.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and I thought that the narrators were a perfect fit. Not only did they bring the story to life, they made it even better.

Love me a good rockstar!

There's something about her rockstar men that I just can't get enough of. Dare is all man, all bad boy. His charm and sinful, devilish ways is something no woman can walk away from once his sights are set. His eyes land on Weatherly, and believe you me, she's looking right back at him. She likes what she sees, as does Dare. They have an instant connection. A connection that reaches far deeper than just between the sheets.

Nothing is as simple as it should be. Dare and Weatherly are from opposite sides of the world. He's from a world where he lives hard and fast. He has lived by his sinfully sexy voice that makes him a heartthrob to every woman in earshot. Weatherly has been living a more privileged life. She bad her entire future planned. Dare changes things. He wasn't among her plans. You know the best things about plans? Changing them and following your heart.

Again, I feel a sigh coming on. Just a sweet and contentment feeling in my heart. Scott's writing is beautiful and she gives her characters life with a gorgeous story. These two were just lovely and so sexy together. I loved the connection they shared. It was an immediate response to each other and I was immediately into their story. These two narrators are the best romance narrators and together, Sebastian York and Ava Erickson are perfection! I could listen to them all day long and I nearly did! York is amazing as Dare and I had really high expectations... I mean, he is a rockstar. He was fabulous!
