Steamy Bear Shifter Romance
Danil's Mate, the first book in the Secret Shifters of Spokane series, is a hot and steamy bear shifter, paranormal romance. The storyline is entertaining with suspense, drama, little mystery, and love. The characters are fabulous, particularly Danil and Dora. Danil is an uber bossy alpha bear, youngest of four brothers, and the family lawyer. Dora is an observant and curious journalist, who doesn't miss anything. They fit perfectly, have a passionate connection, and sizzling chemistry. I can't wait for the next book to get answers to some questions.
The narration is excellent. The narrator, Greg, has a great voice and portrays the characters' personalities very well. I enjoyed his performance. Overall this was a delightful audiobook. If your fan of the shifter romance, you'll love this. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Great Story & Narration🎧 Captivating & Fascinating
I loved this book, it swept me in right from the start and captivated my attention right to the end. Selena Scott is a gifted author, she has a creative and imaginative mind. And while her stories and characters are fascinating and imaginative they are still realistic and easy to relate to, at least that is what she has you believing as she brings you into the world she created. The first book of the “Secret Shifters of Spokane” series is Danil Malashovik’s book, he is an immigration lawyer and the youngest son of Katya and Ilya. He is a bear shifter just like his older brothers, Maxim, Emin and Anton. Up rest in their old country, Belarus forced them to leave and they made a new life for themselves in Spokane. Danil met Pandora “Dora” Katsaros several hours earlier so he was surprised when she showed up at his parents door asking questions about bears in spotted in the woods. Definitely raised a flag for him and he wanted her gone and away from his family. But there was something about her that drew her to him and set him off balance. Dora is cunning and smart, as an investigative reporter she knows how to read people and work them too. She is in Spokane investigating something that is of interest to the Malsahovik family. Danil has met his match in Dora and I loved how their story plays out, it is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some twists and turns, some mystery, thrilling & suspenseful moments, heartfelt moments and the start of a wonderful romance. I loved these two together and for each other. Also loved the tightness of the family and how they accepted Dora with open arms. I am looking forward to what comes next in this series, each brother gets his own book and can be enjoyed on its own but I highly recommend starting with this book, it is where you first meet them all, not to mention it is an awesome book. Selena Scott, thank you for this amazing story.
Craig A. Hart is a terrific narrator and voice artist. He does a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life giving each their own voice and personality. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures the characters emotions and projects them into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

Loved this start to a new series
My review is written after reading and listening to this book.
I have to say that I so enjoyed this story about Danil and Dora, it's the first book in a new series and after reading and listening to it I am definitely going to listen to the next one, I find I enjoy audio more as it allows me to listen whilst driving etc. But back to this book, it's about love and family and left me with a warm feeling. I do love shifter romance stories and I especially liked Danil.
The storyline is very good and had no trouble holding my attention, there is drama, suspense, and even a mystery. But as I've already said this is a love story with some incredible chemistry. The characters are well-drawn and work well together. Danil is a true alpha bear even though he is the youngest of four brothers, he's also the family lawyer. Dora is a typical journalist, she's sharp and observant with a naturally curious nature. They make a perfect couple the chemistry between them is palpable and hot!
Although the book doesn't end on a cliffhanger it does leave some questions unanswered but I'm sure more will be revealed in the next book.
The narration is excellent, it's by HotGhost Productions but I believe this guy's name is Greg, whatever he's called he did a terrific job, his voice is great and his portrayal of the characters brings out their individual personalities so well.
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Definitely worth a try for lovers of shifters
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
This is the first book of the four bear brothers, this is between the youngest brother Danil and Pandora. Danil is overprotective in an almost caveman like way at times but it really kind of works for his character. Pandora is a really strong capable lead character who is not scared to follow any story despite the trouble it might get her into! The plot and background story for this is really intriguing and I assume will span across the other brothers books you are definitely left with a few questions! The brothers themselves and their parents and Autumn are brilliant secondary characters in this book and make the story fun especially how they interact with one another. Definitely worth a try for lovers of shifters.

Pandora's protective and loving mate
I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. Danil's Mate was written beautifully and had a nice flow and the narrator's voice was like silk. I loved hearing about Danil, his swoon worthy brothers, and their supportive and proud parents relationship. Pandora's take charge attitude and Danil's domineering personality somehow complemented each other. This book had me chuckling and wanting to know what will happen next. I will be buying book 2 as soon as I finish this review.
