Summary
Cynthia and Dan first met in in the Washington McBride Series: The Fairfax Fix. Fans of Mike McBride will remember Cynthia as Senator Mike's pseudo office receptionist while, behind the scenes, acting as his bodyguard and chief of security. In this current novel, Cynthia decides to take on the ISIS terrorists and their crony counterparts in a 21st century war waged online, for the most part, using the very latest high-tech equipment. Cynthia and her two young compatriots operate out of an amazing, self-contained, secret cyber war room, housed in her brother Glenn's Fairfax, Virginia P.I. agency complex. Glenn has assembled equipment from all over the world, surpassing that of the FBI, CIA, and the US Air Force. His servers are hidden at sea, accessed by private satellite, powered by batteries so cool, advanced, and efficient they haven't been invented yet. Thus, the two young computer geniuses, Tim and Garth, are able to intercept and sabotage cyber communications among terrorists anywhere in the world, from ISIS headquarters, and Iran's nuclear agency, to North Korea's Supreme Leader and more. They are able to disrupt terrorist plots in the homeland and abroad, leading to a stunning, surprising and satisfactory ending.
Meanwhile, Cynthia is carrying on the romantic part of the novel, caught in a triangle between two ardent admirers, Sgt. Dan McIntyre, and the mysterious Sky Eastman. After many twists and turns, which keep you guessing right to the end, she makes the right choice. You will be surprised - guaranteed!

Very good
I enjoyed listening to this audiobook.
The plot is interesting and the narrative is engaging.
The narration is very good: Scott Ellis speakers different accents and voice tones to portray the different characters and their personalities.
I would not recommend this for children or young teens as there are a few sensitive topics.
