Loved the cast performance
Julian at his best, great from n. The cast was really good especially the actress playing Jane. comedy cosy murder perfect for a winter evening

Brilliant
Really good plot which was woven expertly into the world of the theatre (and Julian Clary). Narration was excellent and I loved the additional asides.

Simply joyful like an all day theatre performance.
What a delight to experience this audio performance. I listened in a single day and thoroughly enjoyed the story, performances and humour. Such great value for money too. Imagine how many theatre tickets one would have to buy to be entered by a team of professionals in this way for such a long time.

An easy listen.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this. It took me a while to get into the story but I found myself laughing out loud. An enjoyable romp. with plenty of name dropping.

Great cast
An unusual take on a murder mystery with a great cast of narrators. Julian added facts and additional comments to the plot like and old friend chatting over a cuppa.

Such a Lovely Surprise!
I have always loved Julian Clary on TV and stage and had no idea he was also an author until an advert for this book randomly popped up online. I actually had it downloaded for about 6 months as it was something I had on standby if I ran out of something to listen to. If I'd have known how fabulous this book was I would have listened immediately! The different voices portraying the characters were perfect, it was so easy to imagine these people and see them in your head. The story was really great and flowed brilliantly. I've never listened (or read) a book that is purely, diary entries, text exchanges, adverts, blogs and tweets before now and what a revelation it was, it made it really fast paced and fun!
Julian, if you are reading this, which I very much doubt, but hope you are, please, please write more books, it was a delight! Also loved the name-dropping too.….poor Nigel, he doesn't just get it on the stage every Christmas, now it's in writing too!
