loved the introduction of Richard sharpes son.
Bernard cornwell is a genius. attention to detail is exceptional, and historical insight amazing. will buy next two in series and await with bated breath Starbucks next adventure. (the name is only downfall)

Second outing
Starbuck off on his adventures again. Great story with some good character development that leaves you rooting for some.

Superb continuation of the Chronicle
Love the character depth and continuing build on each of them. Cornwell writes in a way that focuses on the characters but still brings in such a beautiful view of the history of the battles and the political landscape surrounding the time. Beautifully read and performed as well.
