Summary
Two young lovers, brutally torn apart just as they found their way to each other. Will their budding love be enough to overcome the pain of the past and the challenges of the future?
Dani Reed was an outsider. She was no stranger to being different, and had been bullied most of her life for it. After the loss of her father, the only person in Dani's life that made her feel loved was the one person she thought she could never have: her best friend Claire.
Claire Oliver was popular, smart, and miserable. Seeing her best friend Dani bullied every day, Claire never dared to be open and carefree. However, Claire's growing feelings for Dani made it impossible to keep pretending. A moment of love, clarity, and bravery lead the two down a path neither could have imagined or prepared for.
Two years after being forced apart, the young women find their way back to each other against all the odds. But so much had changed. Has the separation strengthened their bond? Or has their love been irrevocably damaged?
This is a new adult novel that deals with homelessness, disabilities, and prejudices.

heartbreaking
what people go through in life, to come out better even happier, often amazes me
jourdyn tears at the heartstrings once again as another MC gets put through the wringer
young dani is an unashamed tomboy, lesbian, in love with her best friend, but just as her feelings are reciprocated, her world is rocked when her cold mother throws her out on the streets
linking to previous books in series , this can be listened to alone, but is best in order.
narrated excellently again I highly recommend both this and the eve series for both lgbt and literary fiction at the highest level

Coming To
I already liked Dany very much in Hunter’s and Ellie’s book "Coming Out".
I am very happy that Claire’s and Dany’s story is now told in “Coming To”. I have a weakness for sweet butches ...
Even if it is an extremely hard story with blatant happenings.
Dany learns very early in her life how to deal with bullying and loss of loved ones.
Plus, she's been in love with her best friend Claire, who seems straight, since day one of their friendship ... and her mother is blind to the obvious - Dany is a lesbian!
She doesn't want to know either. The relationship has never been good and she has suffered even more since her husband passed away.
Dany hides everything from her mother. She fears the consequences.
Claire is always by her side. However, everything gets shaky when Claire’s first date is up.
Everything is about to change and a turbulent story begins.
All beloved characters of the LA Lovers from „Coming Home“ and „Coming Out“ are of course back. The change of perspective is great.
I love reading stories from different angles and happenings. It makes a world complete.
The LA Lovers World is so lovable yet full of exciting and dangerous twists. It keeps you in suspense!
Once again a fantastic book by Jourdyn Kelly!
