Highly recommended
I had been an avid learner of Chinese and had been looking for easy reference material to summarize my studies. This audible turned out to be just that, not that I need to learn and remember each and every word or phrase mentioned here, but having all the major keywords, scenarios, and grammar rules in one place makes my study of the Chinese language much much easier. Highly recommended

A great way of starting to learn Chinese
A great way of starting to learn Chinese that I enjoy listening to and saying out loud while going to work in the car. a different way of learning the four tones which I found interesting giving them different names. I tried to use this with also trying to write and remember Chinese writing which I found too hard to remember at this stage. so I am just going to listen to this audio for now and then start to write down the words as my memory and recollection gets better.

Brilliant
The author introduces phrases in a very accessible way, linking vocabulary to words already known or the English concept. There is a lot of needed repetition and phrases and words are gradually built on. Brilliant course!

Best
I put my headphones on and listen to and from work, I really look forward to it. When learning a language in the past, I used to sit down with grammar exercises, now I realize this is not the best way

fantastic
I am sorry to drop a star as this is a fantastic way to learn Chinese - I have lived in China for some years now and tried a number of books or one-to-one with Chinese colleagues and nothing sticks! I have learned more Chinese from this book in a month than in years in other ways! For the first time, as a convinced 'i am bad a learning languages' disciple I don't agree with that statement - because of this excellent course I now enjoy learning Chinese and wish I had found it years ago!
