Personally, I really enjoyed the book. The narrator had a good, interesting voice offering clear guidance throughout.


The audio complements the written material well, describing complex subject matter and making it clear and understandable. The advice covers a series of processes to thrive I. The great outdoors and procures solid alternatives.

I liked the closing message from the author relating to sustainability.

Good little book to refresh and remind you of skills, you haven’t used in a while. I would recommend a hard copy of this book too for those starting or long standing outdoors types.

Good tips and tricks. I found it difficult sometimes to picture what the narrator is describing how to do something. its monkey see ...monkey do in my world but a must have guide for any aspiring bushcrafter or survivalist.

For someone like me who has a very basic knowledge of bushcraft, this book is brilliant. For the more experienced outdoorsman I'd imagine it to be a repeat of what you already know. It's very well read and I was kept interested from start to finish.
