Summary

When Monkey is sent into space by a team of scientists, he thinks everything will be smooth sailing. But not everything goes according to plan, and soon Monkey's spaceship crash-lands in a forest, disrupting the peaceful atmosphere. Convinced that he has discovered a new world, power-mad (but mostly incompetent) Monkey claims the forest as his own and determines that all other animals must be banished, including his soon-to-be nemesis, Bunny. As Bunny gathers reinforcements and goes head-to-head with the gadget-obsessed Monkey, hilarious hijinks ensue.

Great book

The narration is a bit annoying at first but after a while it is absolutely perfect looking forward for the rest of the series to come out on audible (P.S would skip the chapter about bees unless you want the noise of 1000000 wasps going through your headphones lol)

Good but bad narrator

I've only just herd the sample but it is badly narrated. Why choose an Irish accent for British animals? And monkey....

Bunny vs monkey is the best thing in the world

I have all the books. I love the narrator, I find it very calming.
I would recommended it to people who like funny fighting.
I choose this rating because I love all the books. And once I found it on audible I was so happy.
Looshki by the same author is also excellent

Good book, but horrible narration

I recently got this audiobook as I'm a fan of the series and wanted to see how it would be translated into the audiobook format. Well, turns out, badly. The story itself is as good as it was in the original book, but the same can't be said for the narration. First of all, the narrator chimes in constantly to give meaningless commentary on things you easily could have conveyed with sound effects and some word changes. Second, the voices for all the characters are unbearable. They all sound so annoying or have really heavy accents to try and distinguish them, which makes it really hard to listen to. There are a few jokes here and there that are made slightly more funny by the fact it's spoken, not read, but these are few and far in between. Take into account that your hearing all this for over 3 hours and this quickly becomes unbearable. A good book let down by a poor audiobook.
