Summary
What could possibly go wrong fake dating the gorgeous single dad in a small town? The answer, you fall for him.
It started out perfect. Grady Whitlock needed a plus one for his business meetings, and I needed a date for a wedding.
We had a plan. It was a good one. Until it wasn’t.
I was not supposed to have feelings for him. I was not going to let my heart race when his soulful blue eyes stared into mine. No way should I have noticed his smile or the dimple on his right cheek or his strong arms when he held me close. I especially wasn’t going to melt when I saw him play with my daughter. Most of all I was not going to sleep with him.
Nope. None of that was supposed to happen, but it does.
Now I find myself dreaming of him every night. Wishing we were really a couple, because the way he kisses me doesn’t feel as if it’s pretend.
But we’ve both watched our dreams shatter, and I can’t handle another broken heart.

Absolutely loved this book a must listen
I really enjoyed this story, possibly my favourite book from this author and I’ve listened to quite a few. I loved Sebastian York in this, as always. The female narrator was new to me and was ok, not a favourite, but not annoying enough that I couldn’t listen. Definitely worth getting this book you won’t be disappointed.

Small town, fake dating with two single parents.
I really enjoyed this audiobook! The narrators were fantastic. Small town, faking dating romance with two single parents?... Yes, please!
Addy and Grady were perfection together. Their story was beautifully written, with so much emotion and care. They both lost their spouses, both in different ways, and together, they grieve, form love and companionship, and heal. It was simply beautiful to read! You can tell that they are meant to be together despite their push and pull throughout the book. The angst, the chemistry, and the spice were amazing!
Also, the kids in this were adorable. The way they became instant best friends and the way the Addy and Grady were with each others kids 🥹 Such a cute and adorable family. AND the ending... perfection!
I will definitely be reading more by Corinne Michaels, and with so many cameos of couples from her other books, I can't wait to get stuck into this world she has created.

Grady and Addy's Story
I absolutely adored this book. A wonderful follow on to Forbidden Hearts, which featured Grady's oldest Brother - Asher, finding love with Phoebe.
This is Grady's story a single Dad, widowed far too young, finding new love with Addison, who we originally met in Corinne's excellent Rose Canyon Series.
Lots of great cross overs with other characters from Rose Canyon, as well as many of the Arrowoods. Always love it when Authors bring in previous characters from other books that we have already read and loved.
This is wonderfully written, and brilliantly narrated by the always amazing SebYo, and the very talented Kit Swann.
A book I will happily listen to again and again.

Another Fab Story
I've loved this series, the stories are amazing and the characters addictive, wouldn't we all love a Whitlock family living close to us. This is Grady & Addison's story, where the chemistry is off the charts and hot.
Both are widows losing their respective partners 3 years ago, they see each other every morning where Grady's son Jet won't go into playgroup and throws a tantrum, Addison along with her little girl of the same ago help Grady to get his son into school and so the story begins. Jet is so funny and loveable,
Both need a date for a future upcoming event, so they help each other out, where feelings grow and they have no idea why!!
The kids make the story for me, I've laughed and teared up while listening to all three books in this series and cannot wait for Bryn's story, you just know Corinne Micheals will make it epic
Sabastian York is one of my favorite narrators his dark gravelly dulcet tones are amazing and bring Grady to life. However, although I appreciate the work involved in narration, the female voice didn't gel with me, I know this can be a personal for each listener but boy was it very whiney and grated on my nerves, however I loved the story so much I had to listen, while hoping Sebastian voice would come quickly on the next chapter. The other audiobooks in the series where amazing!!

I loved this book!
This is a beautiful book and my favourite Corinne Michaels story. Everything was perfect, from the narration, to my new book boyfriend Grady, to the adorable kids and the lovely main female character - it was a joy to listen to. Highly recommended and so worth a credit!
