This one needs a warning label, between the narrator Thomas’s voice, the pacing and Piper’s writing this book was hot enough to melt my phone. If you enjoy hot and dominant males and women who are strong and independent but need something extra in their personal lives this is the perfect book for you.

This is one wild ride! The characters are well balanced. They work very well together. I was surprised at how quickly it got hot and steamy. Thomas absolutely nails this narration, excellent performance for all the characters.

We meet Riley in Roughneck. In this book Big Rig (Riley) is now in charge of his own rig and crew.

Doctor Alexis Harding has been unable to get a job after she told her boss what she though of him in front of everyone so when she is offered the job of site doctor on an oil field she accepts.

When the two meet sparks fly. Alex has a mouth on her and is used to doing things her own way . Riley is not a man that stands for nonsense

Riley has no problems putting her over a knee and paddle the message into her rear for putting herself and the crew in danger.

They is a lot of twists and turns to this story. Hot chemistry between Riley and Alex. Hot scenes.

I absolutely loved this story. It was compelling and full of action with suspense and intrigue to top up the plot.
