Frustrating

And not in a good way.
The back and forth between the characters was extremely tiresome. I feel like I'm missing something, and I hate books that make me frown. I love books that make me gasp, scream and shout, happy dance, shock, cry. I just frowned throughout. Hoping book 3 will redeem this mediocre trilogy.
