Summary
This book examines the Dance of Shiva and a Tantric worldview as the basis for a yoga manual including instruction on movement, meditation and expansion of consciousness. It examines the keys held in the image of Shiva identifiable as the Cosmic Dancer, to assist humanity with experiencing a more harmonious life. This is achieved by the redirection of attention inwards from the external objective reality through the body and mind. The process leads to an opening of the perception to an experience of unity and bliss.

Fascinating and insightful
Experiencing the audiobook narrated in Natasha's soothing voice was a meditative journey in itself.
This book is a great starting point for anyone curious about tantra and yoga, offering a solid foundation for deeper exploration. The vivid descriptions and historical context of Shiva's dance were captivating. It helped in transforming my understanding of tantra and sparking a genuine curiosity to learn more. I would recommend this book to anyone keen on unraveling the mysteries of tantra and gaining a comprehensive insight into its connection with yoga.

Essential reading for anyone interested in Yoga!
Beautifully written (and read). This is essential reading for anyone interested in Yoga and Tantra. The book pulls together wonderfully what feel like the most important concepts for a practitioner to be aware of, each of which could be explored further using the helpful references provided. And like the concepts themselves, which can be met anew again and again, this book could be revisited over a lifetime of practice and would continue to be inspiring and informative. There is very moving and useful imagery, and especially fascinating insights around music and yoga asana. I can't recommend this book enough. I really loved listening to the audiobook, Natasha's voice and sanskrit was a joy to listen to.
