Summary

Bullets whiz by, walls crumble, and explosions throw you to the ground, the battlefield feels more alive and interactive than ever before. In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines where they will experience heart-pounding missions across diverse locations.

EA's Battlefield games have set the standard for realism and ambition. In Autumn 2011 they're raising the bar even higher. Battlefield 3 will be the most authentic first person shooter ever. To be published alongside the game, Battlefield 3: The Russian is also best in class - the first time that a games publisher has worked so closely with an internationally bestselling author. Displaying all of McNab's trademark grit, authenticity and insight, Battlefield 3: The Russian is a scorching top-of-the-line military thriller.

Good roadtrip entertainment, but

...a bit rushed in the end. Could've used more closure for one of the main protagonists.

Very Hard Work !

This was hard work to get through. The quality of the audio recording was one issue (too bass heavy and a little muffled). The story was ok but the performance was a bit sketchy. Certainly not one of his best stories. Disappointed.

Battlefield 3 The Russian

Probably the best Andy McNab audiobook I have listen to – and I’ve listened to most of them!

Excellent storyline, superbly narrated and absolutely riveting.

I only wish there was some sequence to the various books or some way of finding out which book follows which book in terms of storylines that have been stopped and which are then picked up again.

For example – this book is called Battlefield 3 this has just appeared out of the blue on my download list – presumably somewhere there is a battlefield 1 or Battlefield 2??

Anyway a brilliant book and well worth listening to!
