About this listen

Brady Donovan

With a baseball scholarship to Easton University and awesome family and friends, my life is pretty golden. Except, things have never come together for me in the romance department. Until Kellan Crawford walks onto the field as the team's newest bat boy. Bells and whistles go off in my body, and just like that, I'm totally crushing on a guy for the first time in my life. Too bad he's the coach's son and officially off-limits.

Kellan Crawford

I'm working toward my statistics degree, so landing the bat-boy position with the Easton U Pirates is right up my alley. It keeps me close to the action on the field, even if that means hauling equipment, picking up sweaty jockstraps, and putting up with the players' antics. My dad's the coach, and his number-one rule is never to play favorites...which probably includes getting too friendly with the team captain. But Brady Donovan's annoyingly perfect smile and protective nature are making that nearly impossible.

Contains mature themes.

Good story

I enjoyed this story of 2 people finding not only themselves but their person. Not sure about the ending, it felt a bit rushed and trying to set up the next book too hard. But enjoyable listening without too much angst.

A Sweet Read

The only thing i didn’t enjoy about the narration was that I felt like the guys voices should have been for the opposite characters.
But overall this was incredibly sweet without being too nauseous.

Very good book

I enjoyed the book. The storyline was interesting and I thought the narrators did a good job. I thought that perhaps the narrators would have worked better with each other's characters but they were still good. I didn't think their voices were too old for the characters because they were not teenagers as a review stated. They were in their early twenties. In the book, one character mentioned his sophomore year as past tense and later said they would be entering their final year which means they were in their junior year. Unless they finished high school at seventeen, they would be about twenty-one. The only reason I have gone into more detail about age and year is that I wouldn't want anyone thinking they are teenagers and getting put off by that.

Liked the story but narrators too old...

**Audio Review***

Not sure these two narrators were the right men for the job. The MC's are late teens I think, and both Iggy and Kale sounded too old to pull that age group off convincingly for me 😕. I assume they'll be doing Home Plate as well, so maybe I won't bother with that audio, but still love the stories.

***Book Review***

4.5 stars. Christina Lee is another hit and miss author for me, but I really enjoyed this one which was practically an angst-free zone. Great secondary characters, supportive parents and teammates, and two young guys who found themselves falling in love despite the rules they'd placed themselves under. 😍😍😍

Have been dreading reading this book because of the titel. It's just so cheesey. But must say I regret not listening to this previous.

Spicy MM romamce

The way out couple got together after a lot of tension and earning was so cute. Whilst one is out and proud the other is discovering about himself and his sexuality, he isn't quite sure how to free himself of societal constraints. At least that is what he is afraid of but when he finally let go of his fear things are not quite like he thinks.
It was very spicy and sweet at the same time.
