I discovered this book and immediately started listening. I stayed up well into the night to finish it.

I’m so glad there was a happy ending, with a few surprises along the way.

I will definitely be trying out more books by this author.

Why are French men always portrayed as weak little things? I laughed so hard because this is how I would imagine a French man too. All the money in the world and this man can’t fight. It kind of seems more believable that way though.

It was an okay ish story and the performance wasn't bad some people mentioned the French accent but I've heard worse attempts before lol. But what I couldn't hack was the constant frustration of the female character refusing to commit or do anything. That was the whole story!

not very descriptive, sometimes dragged too long and overall kinda slow paced. but the story wasn't half bad.

the French accent

Terrible book, I did not finish it, it was pure torture. I looked for the male narrator, I was curious to find if he was European at least 😂😂😂 because his French accent was terrible, sounded more like a German accent, and let me tell you there is nothing hot or sexy to a German accent 🤦‍♀️. I can't believe he's an acclaimed narrator, keep it simple next time 🤷‍♀️
So that's it's, boring story, narrative was ..... yeah I don't have words.
Nothing to do with the book now, but Audible if this is what you offer I won't regret cancelling my subscription.

I’m glad this story was offered as part of the ‘included’ books I get with my subscription as I never would have paid for it. The female character annoyed me, she seemed so immature and a bit on the selfish side. The male with what ever that accent was meant to be……..yeah, no words really. I normally like the male narrator, but guess accents are his strong suit.
