Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking A Giant Surprise while Matthew is drinking a What a Thyme. Recipes below.
A Giant Surprise- 2 oz White Rum
- 1/4 oz Curacao
- 1/4 oz Raspberry Syrup
- 1/2 oz Mango Juice
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with mango cubes, fresh raspberries or a lemon twist.
What a Thyme
- 2 oz Gin
- 3/4 oz Thyme Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- 2 Dashes orange bitters
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel or thyme strand.
