Oh how I love you Nalini! I believe at this point the story basically writes itself! I’m used to a little more excitement but it was brilliant nonetheless. These two deserved to be in the focus after so much dancing around one another.

Beautifully written and narrated. BUT WHAT HAVE YOU DONE NALINI? No, just no. I waited for this book with baited breath and excitement. I cannot believe I found myself cringing in parts. Call me what you want. However, they should have remained the best and strongest of friends.
They were like brothers!!! I looked forward to them both finding love with others and being happy. Ruined!!!

I absolutely love this series and this installment was no different. I didn't want it to end! Justine's performance is always exceptional and Nalini's ability to hit you in the feelings is second to none.

Such a beautiful telling of the life that Illium and Aodhan have led through the centuries. It really illustrates how close these 2 had become and also the reasons that they had become distant. Definitely recommend buying this. My only gripe is that I would have liked to see more of their romantic relationship. The book ended just as they figured that but out. Hopefully this is only the first book dedicated to 2 of my favourite characters 🦋💎
